About Coach Nate
My passion for fitness began at 14 when I got my first weight set. It was a bench with a bar and some rustic old plates. That year I also discovered my great-great-uncle Robert Snyder, Jr. was a 1920’s era strongman. That connection, along with the way lifting made me feel, ignited something deep within me, transforming my curiosity into a lifelong commitment to strength and new physical adventures. Over the years, I've embraced lifting and more recently ultra running as ways to push my physical, emotional, and spiritual limits. Every day is a chance to reinvent ourselves and confront both the good and the bad in life, building discipline and mental resiliency along the way. I fondly cherish those moments alone in the gym, or on the open road, where the rhythmic pounding of my feet and heart sometimes seem to take me out of the physical and reconnect me with the primal, real, and necessary side of things.
Mind you, my journey isn’t just about my own personal achievement; I find immense joy in helping others achieve their fitness goals and start new adventures. Watching folks reach their true potential brings a profound sense of fulfillment to my own path, reinforcing my belief that fitness is as much about community and comradery as it is about individual challenge and personal growth. With every challenge, the journey is just as important as the destination.
